Kseniya Kravtsova

Kseniya Kravtsova is a Ukrainian sculptor and artist.

Kseniya creates modern, one-of-a-kind pieces infused with movement, minimalism, and imperfection. Her work forms a sensitive visual language shaped by a childhood rich in contrasts. In essence, hers is a free-spirited path—marked by unconventional learning and driven by curiosity, guided by a vision of total creative freedom explored across multiple mediums: sculpture, painting, photography, and objects.

After earning a Master’s degree in geology from the University of Lviv, Kseniya pursued her artistic training in France. Rediscovering ceramics — first practiced in her childhood — proved to be a turning point. Several years working in a ceramics studio allowed her to gain the technical expertise needed to develop her sculptural practice and assert her distinctive exploration of form. Now working primarily with clay, design for Kseniya Kravtsova goes beyond aesthetic and functional balance; it becomes an ongoing dialogue between the cultural heritage of her roots and a desire to explore new horizons.

Shaped by a wide range of influences — from Ukrainian monumental art, including the work of Mykhailo Boichuk and the mosaics of the Lviv school, to the Bauhaus movement, as well as Brutalism and the sculptures of Eduardo Chillida — Kseniya Kravtsova has developed a singular and poetic universe.

She conceives and creates her collections in her studio near Avignon, in a natural environment that remains her primary source of inspiration. Each piece, being handcrafted, is entirely unique.

Kseniya has recently created a collection exclusively for Chiara Colombini. Each piece in this collection is made entirely by hand, in France.
