BLOCK TABLE LAMP by Kseniya Kravtsova

Block Table Lamp, Kseniya Kravtsova.

Sculpted from clay like a fragment of primitive architecture, the Block lamp explores an intimate tension: that of the straight line. “It’s not a gesture that comes naturally to me, but it draws me in,” the designer confides. From this exploration emerges a stoic, almost monolithic form, where the precision of right angles is in dialogue with the organic softness of the material.

Its refined, almost monolithic form evokes a block carved by time, hollowed out to reveal a warm glow at its heart. Each piece is handcrafted, revealing subtle irregularities and the living texture of the stoneware—sometimes rough, sometimes velvety—that tells the story of the artisan’s touch.

Available in earth tones—deep terracotta or mineral white—it complements any interior, from the most contemporary to the most organic. Both a utilitarian object and a luminous sculpture, this lamp transforms light into emotion and everyday life into ritual.

Slight variations in texture, form, and colour of the ceramic are inherent to the artisanal nature of the lamp.
