The Babka wall light, one of the signature pieces by artist Aurélie Fretti, is named in homage to the Polish pastries of her childhood.

Crafted from dense, grogged white clay, it takes the shape of an irregular twist, reminiscent of life's whirlwinds, while its generous curves capture the very essence of indulgence.

The Babka Wall Light emits a soft light from above, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere. Let yourself be transported by its powerful yet poetic aesthetic.

Each Babka is meticulously modeled, dried, and fired in the Di Fretto Studio. More than just a light, it is a true luminous sculpture, an art piece with a strong character.

The Babka wall light is available in two colors, white and terracotta, but also comes in a monumental version like the one held by the artist in her portrait, either in ceramic or sculpted in white poplar wood.

Of Italian descent on her father's side and Polish on her mother's side, Aurélie Fretti, a former Parisian advertiser, elegantly weaves the story of her origins and her rebirth in the heart of nature through her creations.
