Tense Pendant, New Works.

A cloud suspended in air – the Tense Pendant floats through space with striking lightness. Designed by Panter & Tourron for New Works, it embodies a resolutely contemporary approach, blending formal poetry with technical innovation.

Its diffuser, made from Tyvek® – a soft, durable, and 100% recyclable material – recalls the texture of Japanese paper. Flexible and lightweight, it follows the contours of an ultra-thin structure, enhancing the cloud-like presence of the piece. Light diffuses gently through the surface, in an airy yet graphic glow.

Suspended from fine cables with a magnetic fixing system, Tense settles like a floating volume – a luminous sculpture, both dense and immaterial. Available in four sizes, it adapts to any setting – from the most intimate to the most monumental.
