NONETTE METAL WALL LIGHT by Main Edition
Nonette metal wall light, Main Edition.
The "Nonette" wall lights are inspired by the distinctive headwear of nuns; the Cornette, a piece of large starched white cloth, folded upwards, and worn on the head.
The wall lights were designed on the occasion of the rehabilitation of a house in the Lapa district of Lisbon, where many monasteries were once located. They are made of zinc or oxidized copper, but are also available in white earthenware, and can be installed either upwards or downwards.
The Nonette wall light is supplied without an electrical system, they are designed to be hung on the wall over an existing socket. We recommend an E14 socket and a warm LED bulb.
Made by hand by Victoire de Lencquesaing, founder of Main Edition, in her workshop in Lisbon, Portugal.

The oxidation gives the copper finish its unique character. On each piece, the shades vary: some lean more towards copper, while others tend towards dark brown. As this is an artisanal, non-industrial production, each wall light is unique and features slight variations from one piece to another.
