Dona Table Lamp, Alan Louis.

A rectangular prism base of steel glazed sandstone is juxtaposed by a hand embroidered linen lampshade to create the unique design that is the Dona table lamp. On its dark glossy base, the lamp features patchwork of glazed ceramic tiles that seem to have been stitched together, complimenting the hand-stitching of the lampshade.

The linen lampshade is dotted with square embroidery details, like little windows filled with delicate floral motifs. The lightheartedness and elegance of the linen is in dialogue with the industrial geometry of the base, creating a unique ambiance.

Materials: linen, sandstone and steel glaze.
