The Pillar table lamp is a true dialogue between past and present, inspired by the beauty and architectural grandeur of the city of Rome.

Born from a winter stroll through the cold Eternal City, The Pillar recalls the remains of an ancient column or pedestal, once crowned by a statue. Crafted from glazed stoneware, this table lamp stands out through a subtle interplay of colour and texture—merging a minimalist Nordic aesthetic with echoes of Italian design from the 1980s. Every detail is considered to create a sculptural presence and a timeless, poetic form.

The design duo Cose in Corso seeks to reintroduce a sense of poetry into the act of creation. Their work draws on history, archaeology, and geography, with the ambition of translating the soul of a place into material form.
