Olouco Gigante Floor Lamp, Policronica.

A piece that rises like a totem. Its name, Olouco Gigante - “the giant madman” in Portuguese - echoes its striking silhouette: a repeated base, stacked to the point of vertigo.

Crafted from eucalyptus wood, its structure alternates faceted segments and circular forms, establishing a rhythm that feels both classical and contemporary. A conical linen shade extends the lamp’s vertical line.

Olouco Gigante explores the balance between strength and lightness, rigour and playfulness. The raw eucalyptus wood enhances its sculptural presence and material authenticity.

Handcrafted in the workshops of Rio Maior, this piece embodies Policronica’s philosophy: design rooted in material, faithful to time and to the maker’s craft.

Materials: eucalyptus wood and linen. Other wood finishes available upon request.
