Atelier Areti features the work of Gwendolyn and Guillane Kerschbaumer. The sisters set up their own design studio in 2008, after having worked for several architecture and design offices throughout Europe and the US.
Atelier Areti's focus is on the production of beautiful, useful, well designed products that are made to last. ("Areti" means virtue and excellence in Greek). Each light is made using high quality materials such as metal, solid brass or hand-blown glass.
There is a strong sculptural aspect to the collection, as the Kerschbaumer sisters approach product design from a spatial point of view, imagining how a light exists in a space, how it interacts with this space and defines it.
Each light in the Atelier Areti collection is produced in an environmentally conscious way, by master craftsmen and manufactures in Germany and Sweden.
