Hiromi | Chiara Colombini

The Hiromi collection of lighting and objects in chamotté earthenware is instantly recognizable. Founded by Johanna de Clisson in 2021, Hiromi stands for "free-spirited beauty" in Japanese.

Johanna de Clisson's work explores contrasts: she is inspired by both the simplicity of brutalist forms and by rounded, more organic shapes and volumes. De Clisson cites architects Ryue Nishizawa, Tadao Ando and Oscar Niemeyer as her main sources of inspiration.

The Hiromi collection is designed and made by Johanna de Clisson in her atelier in Paris' 9th arrondissement. Clisson sculpts each piece entirely by hand in this all-white space.
