Cabo bench, Alan Louis.

The Cabo bench is made in a chamotte stoneware. The clay is fired between two and three times at temperatures between 800 and 1400 degrees, a process which solidifies the clay, making the bench as strong as if it were made of stone...

It is through a work of assembly, modeling, sculpture and the different firings that the tables come to life. Clay is an almost "living" material due to the changes in the material between drying and firing. This make the curves slightly irregular and the dimensions may vary slightly. Each bench is unique. 

A removable cushion hand sewn in the atelier can be ordered upon request.

Each bench is numbered and signed by the designer.
