The Balance lamp plays tribute to the concepts of gravity and time. All entities move and nothing remains still; the spheres seemingly frozen in time are a reminder that life always moves... "With Balance", explains Victor Castanera "I wanted to evoke the beholders curiosity about the world around them".

The two mouth blown globes are poised between two slanted steel boards. The metal spheres on each end have just the tight density to counterweight the weight of the globes. The overall structure is grounded by a rounded base which ties all the elements together, establishing a unified tension within one single form.

The lamp is available in two versions, glossy black painted steel with a marble base, or plated brass with a steel base.
