Amande Haeghen | Chiara Colombini

Amande Haeghen grew up in a very artistic, creative background, her grandfather and mother both artists.

The urge to create soon made itself felt and Haeghen instinctively embarked on work in ceramics with wall installations, which cover the walls like a second skin.

Haeghen then turned to sculpture and lighting in stoneware, porcelain, brass, glass, marble ...

From the quarries of Limoges, where she sources stoneware and porcelain, via Saint-Just where she selects the glass plates, to her atelier in Paris' 18th arrondissement, each light is entirely designed, shaped and assembled by hand by Haeghen.

With their organic shapes and free flowing contours, each piece bears the mark of the maker. Each is produced in small series, in limited numbered editions.

All of Amande Haeghen's works are made with natural French materials, part of an ecological and ethical approach that is essential for Haeghen. Custom pieces can be commissioned upon request.
