Founded in 2008, Zangra is a Belgium-based company that sells home accessories: lamps, tableware, door handles and porcelain switches.
Inspired by vintage porcelain switches and light fixtures with a sleek and elegant design, the designers Eve Van Dyck and Thierry Donnay will try to look for them on the market, but without success. This is why they are going to imagine the Light001 luminaire, which retains the aesthetic codes of the time, but with current electrical specificities.
The tone is set. They design other models in porcelain: rosettes, sockets, sconces, ceiling lights. And in the wake, Zangra is created.
Zangra quickly becomes a distributor of technical porcelain. Zangra is relaunching with porcelain manufacturers in Europe models whose production was stopped decades ago, but for which they still have the moulds.
The brand's philosophy is to produce and distribute quality products using durable materials such as porcelain. In their more sustainable approach, each product is made in Europe.
