The MCDE gallery has been the benchmark publisher of architect and designer Pierre Chareau for over 30 years. It was born from the will of a collector, Maxime Defert, who considered that publishing was a duty, that of allowing the thought of one of the most modern creators of the first half of the 20th century to pass the threshold of our door through a lamp or a stool.
The main mission of the MCDE gallery is to continue to perpetuate the know-how of Pierre Chareau, in particular through a collaboration with Hauvette and Madani.
Since 2010, Samantha Hauvette and Lucas Madani have been working on high-end projects in France and abroad.
Complementary in their timeless approach to space, they have been working their projects together since their meeting on the benches of the Camondo school.
From the design of the space to the design of the furniture, they create elegant and refined interiors, tinged with a patinated modernism which they have made their signature.
